Hi Friend,

As I mentioned in one of my recent newsletters, I haven't written much lately for several reasons. But here's what you may have missed from January:

A Brief History of Palestine, from Canaan through the Mandate Era

Apologists for Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians rely on ahistorical Zionist propaganda narratives that deny the Palestinians’ own ancient connection to the land.

Interview: Criminal US Policies, Foreign and Domestic

I joined Mike Leavitt to discuss the US government’s support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza and other criminal policies, both foreign and domestic.

Interview: US Complicity in Israel’s Genocide in Gaza

In this interview, I explain how Israel’s genocide in Gaza has been facilitated by the US government.

Interview: The Significance of the ICJ’s Order for Israel to Comply with the Genocide Convention

In this interview, I discussed the significance of the ICJ’s ruling that South Africa has made a plausible case that Israel is committing genocide.

To briefly explain my reasons for not writing much lately:

  • I've been preoccupied just trying to keep up with information, especially about the US-supported humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.

  • I have an upcoming debate to prepare for. (I'll be in Manhattan, NY, on February 26 to argue the negative to the debate resolution "The root cause of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is Palestinians' rejection of Israel's right to exist.")

  • I've had husband and father duties to attend to.

  • I've been working on establishing a stronger foundation for moving forward with my truly independent journalism on a more financially sustainable basis. (This includes finally hiring a web development team to outsource my website maintenance and development work, so that I will no longer be limited by my own time and skills in that area.)

If you appreciate what I do and would like to make a financial contribution:

Support my independent journalism with one-time or recurring donation.

In Solidarity,

Jeremy
