Hi Friend,

I haven't published any writings in a while and have also been sending fewer newsletters recently because of a need to free up work hours to get other stuff done.

So, I wanted to take a few moments to let you know, dear reader, what I've been up to and what's coming up.

Focus on Israel-Palestine and My Upcoming Debate

Since the Hamas attacks in Israel on October 7 and Israel's military response in Gaza, because of the urgency of the situation and popular demand for my views, I have been back to focusing on the Israel-Palestine conflict.

For the knowledge of readers who only started following my work while I was totally focused on fighting for health freedom here in the US, before I got into that issue on account of having become a father, my work focused on US foreign policy, with a particular focus on the Palestine conflict.

My book Obstacle to Peace: The US Role in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, published in 2016, received praise from Noam Chomsky, Paul Craig Roberts, Max Blumenthal, and Scott Horton, among others. Here is what former CIA officer Philip Giraldi had to say about it:

“Given the intense focus and the passions aroused by the conflict it is rare to find a book or article that says something new but Jeremy Hammond’s Obstacle to Peace: The U.S. Role in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict does just that, deconstructing the prevailing narrative on the Middle East while also explaining in meticulous and fully documented detail why and how a succession of United States administrations has actually become the greatest impediment to a just settlement that would benefit both Palestinians and Israelis….To my mind his book is essential reading on Israel-Palestine….”

The book is particularly relevant in light of the US government's support for Israel's crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Signed copies are available directly from me here.

I've done a fair number of interviews on the topic over the past few months, and I have two more scheduled for later his week.

I also have a debate coming up in New York at the end of February, so I've been spending time to refresh my memory on various aspects of the conflict while also continuing my research to expand my knowledge. I'll be continuing to spend time preparing my argument in the coming weeks.

For the debate, journalist Eli Lake will argue in favor of the resolution that "The root cause of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the Palestinians' rejection of Israel's right to exist." I'll be arguing the negative.

If you're going to be in the Manhattan area and are interested in attending the debate, tickets can be purchased here.

If you missed it, be sure to check out my article from earlier this month, "A Brief History of Palestine, from Canaan through the Mandate Era", which I did to fill a gap because most of my work in this area has tended to focus on the history since the Mandate era, and I wanted an article that addresses popular propaganda claims relating to earlier history. The article I sought didn't exist, so I wrote it.

Scott Horton and I also have a forthcoming co-written article for you on Gaza, so stay tuned for that.

I mentioned in a number of prior newsletters a major article documenting how Israel has maintained a policy of utilizing Hamas as a strategic ally and other background context necessary to understand events since 10/7. This is drafted, but it's been a struggle just keeping up with the daily flood of information, and I was forced to put it on the back burner for a bit to deal with other priorities. I'll be updating that draft with more recent revelations and re-prioritizing that project as soon as I can.

Focus on Health Freedom

On the topic of health freedom, a major project I had underway when the COVID-19 outbreak occurred in 2019 was a critical analysis of the Danish study by Hviid et al. purporting to have shown that the MMR vaccine is not associated with autism even among children who have a genetically predisposed higher risk of autism.

That paper was left unfinished when I shifted 100% to fighting the lockdown madness and coerced mass vaccination endgame, but I recently came back to it at the request of a scientist who I'd spoken with about Hviid et al. back in 2019. As a result of this renewed collaboration, the draft is currently undergoing some peer review, but stay tuned.

Building Financial Sustainability for My Journalism

Apart from researching and creating informative content, I have been focused on getting better organized, improving efficiency, and generally building a more solid foundation for doing journalism while remaining totally independent and with sufficient financial stability.

To that end, I have finally hired a website developer. I bet you didn't realize that I have always maintained and developed my site all on my own!

But the labor involved in that has become too burdensome for me and eats up too much of time I need to otherwise be spending researching and delivering valuable knowledge to you.

Plus, I have a major development project that really pushes the limits of my own skills. As I've previously disclosed in newsletters, I have been aiming to launch a membership program for my site, a private members-only community, and online courses.

Don't worry! I will not be placing my articles behind a paywall. There will be a FREE membership option, while paid members will get additional benefits.

So, I've finally hired a team to help me with the website stuff to free up my time to give you more of the content you want. In addition to helping me out, this team will help make improvements to the site to ensure a great user experience, including optimizing page load speed.

I've always felt it was too unaffordable for me to outsource site work, but at this point, I can no longer afford not to outsource it, so I'm really excited about how this step is going to help me propel my work forward.

Family Matters

Aside from my business, there have also been family duties to attend to. For instance, our son has been really into chess since the start of last year, and last week we were in Lansing, Michigan, so he could participate in a major chess tournament!

We homeschool and do our best to facilitate and encourage him in his interests.

Outlook for 2024

Long story short, I'm doing my best to juggle a lot of responsibilities while also working on improvements that will enable me to increase my level of productive output.

Anyhow, since I've been pretty silent lately, I just wanted to send out this update to let my subscribers know what I've been up to.

I'm looking forward to a very productive 2024.

While one idea behind my future membership program is to become less dependent on one-time donations, I do absolutely depend on financial support from readers to continue producing critical analyses providing empowering knowledge on really important issues.

So, if you value my work and are able:

Support my independent journalism with a donation.

With Purpose,

Jeremy
